Well done to all on our Learn to Ride session today!
If you would like to book yourself or someone else onto a session please email firstname.lastname@example.org subject: Learn to Ride and we will be in contact!
Wednesday 18th December will be our final session of the year. Just Ride will be open again on Tuesday 7th January.
Please note that in the new year our Saturday session will be finishing at the earlier time of 12pm.
Just Ride would like to thank the family of keen local mountain biker Dave Redwin for the kind donation of £435 which was collected at the ‘celebration of life’ evening after he sadly passed away recently. Dave loved his cycling and loved that Just Ride made cycling accessible to everyone. Our thoughts and thanks go out to Dave’s family.
A big shout out to yet another great local company Argles Metal Design who have over the last few weeks kindly welded two of our bikes. Thanks so much!
See you all at the track in the morning, don’t forget to wrap up warm!
We have had a VERY good week! Local company Hardnutz have been unbelievably generous. We have been gifted 108 brand new helmets! See photos of Project 49 modelling our stylish new helmets.
We continue to be surprised by the generosity and support of all local people/companies that have help us along the way.
Make sure you check out Hardnutz if you are in need of a new helmet, truly amazing company! See you at the track soon!
Coming on Saturday 26th October, don’t miss the ForwardMotion Southend Roadshow! There will be spectacular performances from @TeamExtremeUK, and the ForwardMotion team will be there to answer your questions on all things travel.
It has taken a little while to get all our final donations in from the Just Ride Southend to Manchester cycle… We are please to announced we raised £4,475.34 in total!
For our first ever big fundraiser we didn’t do bad at all! The support we received is truly amazing!
Next week we are back to our normal hours of 10am – 12pm on Tuesday and Wednesday sessions!
Just Ride Southend will be open. The session will be going ahead as normal as well as the Learn to Ride session. However, there is a yellow weather warning issued so if we feel that the track becomes unsafe we will have to close it.
