We don’t just cycle, we upcycle!

Massive thank you to everyone who got creative and involved with our latest arty project!
We asked different groups to decorate and upcycle a wheel so we could display them on the side of the container. Great job everyone!

Thank you

Another wonderful donation received from Jo and Mark, thank you! This too is an electric trike and a great addition to our collection. Why don’t you come down to the track and try it out?

Don’t forget we are open three times a week,
Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 10am -12pm 😃🚴‍♂️

Di Blasi Trike

Has anyone spotted our new folding electric Di Blasi trike at the track!?

Great new donation from Aubrey and Cathy, thank you so much! We are sure it will get lots of good use. ♥️🚲

Have you ever thought about volunteering?

Just Ride Southend is run solely by volunteers and we are looking for some new members to join our team!

Session Leader – Just Ride Southend

Volunteers are needed to run regular sessions at the track. This involves management of volunteers and organisation of the session. Full training will be provided. We are looking for volunteers who are physically able and have good organisation skills. Volunteer will need to be first aid trained but we can provide this training if needed. Opportunities for learning about bike mechanics. Volunteer must be 18+ for this role.

Commitment: Minimum 1 day per week, 9.00am-13.00pm.

If you are interested we’d love to hear from you! Please email us at subject: Volunteering

Cancellation – Tuesday 11th February

Due to the high winds forecast we have decided to cancel the session. We are very sorry for any inconvenience but your safety and that of our volunteers is our highest priority. We hope to see you again soon in more pleasant conditions.

Wednesday 18th December will be our final session of the year. Just Ride will be open again on Tuesday 7th January.

Please note that in the new year our Saturday session will be finishing at the earlier time of 12pm.

Version 3

Dave Redwin

Just Ride would like to thank the family of keen local mountain biker Dave Redwin for the kind donation of £435 which was collected at the ‘celebration of life’ evening after he sadly passed away recently. Dave loved his cycling and loved that Just Ride made cycling accessible to everyone. Our thoughts and thanks go out to Dave’s family.
