REPORT FROM TODAYS SESSION LEADER.
A very nice morning made easy by Project 49. Chris organised his group with Mark taking the money and at least 4 helpers getting the bikes out , sorting out the catering and putting it all away afterwards. I looked at the black hand crank gear shifter with Chris and we reckon an ordinary ‘thumb shifter’ on the bracket or down tube would do the job. I also fiddled with the yellow 3 wheel tandem and in the end cut off most of the extra cable ties from the rear chain guide, this gave it a bit of movement which allowed the chain to go both ways without coming off. It seems to have worked. Project 49 made our job (David and myself) very easy.
